National Immigrant Resilience Day (NIRD)
NIRD was created to bring the focus to undocumented students who have come out of the Dream Act fight and are ready to take their power back to their institutions. If you are a teacher who can commit to make a change in your classroom one year we want to help uplift and continue to build your work with the direct of the student organizers on campus. We want you to join us annually and continue the your commitments to make sure that way day we can reach education equity for undocumented students as well as ensuring that you push to end detentions and deportations. We’re calling on institutions -- K-12, universities, community colleges and community centers -- and students to sign up to join National Immigrant Resilience Day (NIRD) on April 18!
