On January 16th, 2018, the Department of Justice appealed and challenged the U.S. District Court’s decision that ordered the Trump Administration to resume accepting DACA renewal applications. This is another attempt by the Trump Administration to preserve their right to deport us. It is urgent to pass the #DreamActNow by January 19th - our lives are at risk!

As this court case continues to develop, things may change quickly. We’re here for you. We will keep you updated with any more information as soon as it is available. Follow @unitedwedream on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter for the latest updates.

The appeal by the Department of Justice does not change the USCIS renewals process announced on January 13th. If you are eligible for renewal (see UWD and NILC’s FAQs), we recommend you apply to renew immediately.

Our goal remains clear: we need the Dream Act by January 19th. Enough is enough. Our community cannot keep living week to week with this uncertainty on our shoulders or temporary court fixes. Our community’s need for a Dream Act by the end of this week is urgent. Text DreamActNow to 877-877 to join the fight!
